Underhill is a large detached stone cottage in a quiet rural location set in a pretty cottage garden with lawns and flower borders on several levels . The paved patio has outdoor furniture and a gas barbecue. There is off-road parking for 3 cars. All rooms are decorated to a very high standard with quality furnishings and antiques.

There is a large comfortable lounge with beamed ceiling and inglenook fireplace with oil fired stove, television, freeview and DVD player. The separate dining room has French windows leading on to the patio, it also has a television and freeview. The fully equipped kitchen with breakfast area has an electric oven and gas hob. Also downstairs there is a laundry/shower room with toilet.

Upstairs are a large master bedroom, a double bedroom - with an ensuite toilet and washbasin, and a large twin room; a z-bed and travel cot are available. The spacious family bathroom has an electric shower over the bath.

The nearby village of Myddle, which has a small shop and 17th century pub, is a pleasant 15 minute walk along a quiet lane. A larger shop, post office and take away are a 5 minute drive to Bomere Heath. Supermarkets, eg. 24 hr Tesco, Morrisons and Aldi are a 10 minute drive to the outskirts of Shrewsbury.

It is about 6 miles to the historic town of Shrewsbury, with its black and white buildings, narrow streets and shuts. There are 3 shopping centres, as well as many independent shops. Leisure facilities include Cineworld, swimming pool, ten pin bowling and a sports village, as well as the castle, several museums and the Theatre Severn. The surronding countryside is ideal for relaxing, walking or visiting Ludlow, Ironbridge, Chester and Wales.

The cottage is only available from April to October. Short breaks can be arranged.

Pets are welcome by arrangement.
